Playdough is every child’s favourite sensory toy — squishy, colourful, and full of possibilities. Instead of buying it, why not make your own at home? It’s quick, inexpensive, and you know exactly what’s in it. Today, Turbo and Kevin are rolling up their feathers and making some quacky creations!

Simple Homemade Playdough Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain flour

  • 1 cup salt

  • 2 tbsp cream of tartar

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1.5 cups boiling water

  • Food colouring (natural if possible)

Method:

  1. Mix flour, salt, and cream of tartar in a big bowl.

  2. Add the oil.

  3. Carefully pour in boiling water and stir (adults only here!).

  4. Divide into portions and add colouring.

Knead until smooth and squishy.

  1. Store in an airtight container and it will last for weeks.
