BIRD FEEDER
Don’t toss that old plastic bottle! With a little creativity, you can turn it into a bird feeder that brightens your garden and helps our feathered friends. Turbo says he’d rather keep all the seeds for himself… but sometimes sharing is nice.
Materials
-
1 clean plastic bottle (1–2 litre works best)
-
2 wooden spoons or sturdy sticks (for perches)
-
String or wire (to hang)
-
Bird seed
-
Scissors / craft knife (adult supervision required)
Instructions
-
Wash and dry your bottle.
-
Cut two small holes near the bottom on opposite sides. Push wooden spoons through so they form perches, with the spoon bowl sticking out to hold seed.
-
Cut small seed holes just above the spoons, so food can spill onto them.
-
Make a hole at the top and tie string or wire through.
-
Fill with bird seed, hang from a tree branch, and watch the birds flock in!
🦆 Turbo’s Tip
“Careful — once the sparrows find it, there won’t be much left for us ducks!”

Cupcake Liner Crafts
Don’t throw away those colourful liners — turn them into something new!
Here are a few of Turbo’s favourites:
1. Cupcake Liner Flowers
Flatten liners, layer them, glue to paper, add drawn stems.
2. Butterfly Wings
Cut liners in half, decorate, glue onto a cardboard butterfly body.
3. Duck Wings
Fold yellow liners, stick them onto a duck drawing for a 3D effect.
4. Mini Christmas Trees
Paint liners green, stack upside down, top with a paper star.
Turbo’s Tip: “Cupcake liners aren’t just for baking
— they’re quacktastic for crafting too!”
